How Do We Perceive Everything And What Is The Folly Of Comparison?

How Do We Perceive Everything And What Is The Folly Of Comparison?
When it really comes down to it, we are all humans and we are equal in our humanity and creation.

So, what is the real difference between each one of us?

Perhaps the most tangible difference we have from one another that culminates in each individual thinking and acting differently is how we perceive the world and understand it.

Everyone sees the world from their own lens, and that gives birth to differences in opinion and belief.

In this blog post, I am going to tell you why this truth is the most important thing in life.

What ultimately gives you incentive to do some stuff and avoid doing other things is how you perceive the world.

Mostly, this perception goes through several filters, and one of them is comparison.

Inevitably and unavoidably, we all have our comparisons when it comes to making up our minds on important issues.

For instance, the value of success in a society highly relies on the comparisons that the members of that society tend to make to rate success.

Generation after generation, people will embrace this dogmatic chart and live the rest of their lives making the same comparisons and assumptions about success.

But here is where it gets tricky: Comparison is inevitable, but there is great folly in comparing things that should not be regarded in that manner.

For instance, success and its measure in your society might be about comparing different social status and positions of power, but here is the question:

Will ranking high in that system give you satisfaction or happiness?

If not, then the comparison should not be a factor through which we evaluate and look at things.

Without inner happiness and contentment, what is the point of perceiving everything just like everybody else tells you to?

So, the most important idea when it comes to perceiving things in this world should not be that of the contempt that breeds comparison, but one that encourages passion and logic.

If you want to achieve something, do not measure it by how it rates amongst other things, but measure it by how much you like or want it.

The folly of comparison can make fools of us all; where in place of logic, you have unbridled greed. Where in place of passion, you will have longing for something that is not truly your heart’s desire.

To avoid the pitfall of making the wrong choice in your life, stop comparing things and try to see them as they truly are!

Why is it Important to Wish well ,Your Enemies and Move on from their Malevolence?

physed-happiness-articlelarge

Even the very best of us sometimes come across people who they shouldn’t trust, but in doing so pay the consequence of betrayal.

It is an undeniable truth that there are a lot of bad people out there waiting to take advantage of you at every given opportunity.

When we trust easily and get betrayed later on, we have not shown weakness.

The weakness belongs to those who would do everything to meet their ends, regardless of the ethical consequences involved.

How do we deal with people like that?

This needs not saying, but when you declare someone as your enemy, even inside your own brain, you start building resentment.

Resentment that has no sense of manifestation in the outside world becomes a mental pressure point in the future.

All the built-up anger and hatred will devour your soul, all the while your enemy is not even thinking about you anymore after their betrayal.

That being said, we see a lot of people who are forgiving towards those who do them harm and make them suffer.

Why is that?

Everyday, you see a lot of people forgive their enmities and bound together in unity.

The reason behind that is those people are so good that they cannot even hate their enemies.

Their sense of empathy makes them realize that their enemies are not that well off, despite what appearances may suggest.

Doing terrible things to others will eventually have its toll on one’s soul.

People who take advantage of others or make them suffer without justification live in a hell of their own making, and that is why most people pity them.

This pity will give you the opportunity to forgive and move on. It is only then when you finally reclaim your broken heart after being wronged.

Do not let the malevolence of other people dictate how you world in your view. Realize that these people are not strong, and nor are they happy.

These people are pitiable, and if given the opportunity, we should help them see and strive towards a better path than before.

Remember this my friends:

Resentment leads to more devastation, while kindness is everlasting…!
