How Do We Perceive Everything And What Is The Folly Of Comparison?
When it really comes down to it, we are all humans and we are equal in our humanity and creation.
So, what is the real difference between each one of us?
Perhaps the most tangible difference we have from one another that culminates in each individual thinking and acting differently is how we perceive the world and understand it.

Everyone sees the world from their own lens, and that gives birth to differences in opinion and belief.
In this blog post, I am going to tell you why this truth is the most important thing in life.
What ultimately gives you incentive to do some stuff and avoid doing other things is how you perceive the world.
Mostly, this perception goes through several filters, and one of them is comparison.
Inevitably and unavoidably, we all have our comparisons when it comes to making up our minds on important issues.
For instance, the value of success in a society highly relies on the comparisons that the members of that society tend to make to rate success.
Generation after generation, people will embrace this dogmatic chart and live the rest of their lives making the same comparisons and assumptions about success.
But here is where it gets tricky: Comparison is inevitable, but there is great folly in comparing things that should not be regarded in that manner.
For instance, success and its measure in your society might be about comparing different social status and positions of power, but here is the question:
Will ranking high in that system give you satisfaction or happiness?
If not, then the comparison should not be a factor through which we evaluate and look at things.
Without inner happiness and contentment, what is the point of perceiving everything just like everybody else tells you to?
So, the most important idea when it comes to perceiving things in this world should not be that of the contempt that breeds comparison, but one that encourages passion and logic.
If you want to achieve something, do not measure it by how it rates amongst other things, but measure it by how much you like or want it.
The folly of comparison can make fools of us all; where in place of logic, you have unbridled greed. Where in place of passion, you will have longing for something that is not truly your heart’s desire.
To avoid the pitfall of making the wrong choice in your life, stop comparing things and try to see them as they truly are!
